There’s also a few nice barbel and Chub on the river Lea at Fishers Green and even more barbel on the upper reaches towards Hemel but you would have to think about joining a club like Verulam AC or Vauxhall AC or even WGC AC or Hatfield AC to have access to waters along these stretches which run between Hertfordshire up to the Essex border.
