In doing so, you will want to consider whether you might want to use the garden at some point in the future to sell alcohol – perhaps an outdoor bar at a barbecue or possibly through waited drinks service. In the ‘general box’, list the steps you will take to promote all 4 licensing objectives together, for example, employing additional staff. If in doubt, you should contact your licensing authority. Contact your council to apply for a premises licence if you intend to sell alcohol or provide ‘licensable activities’ from a particular venue.
